The Cat's Tail and Other Tales.

It started to rain during intermission of Joseph.  Oh no, what will we do if they cancel? Amy, our driver, has to get back for school.  They kept right on going to the end.  Last year, we were at Mary Poppins and they cancelled after about 10 minutes.  During The Little Mermaid, because it had rained during the day it was humid and hot.  We were wishing it would rain!  Having water run across the stage and flow down from above helped.

 

Between shows, we put puzzles together.  Carol stuck with the 500 piece puzzle until it was finished.  Amy gave up on it and put the 300 piece one together.  The 100 piece puzzles challenged Verla and me.  They taunted us for putting Baby Puzzles together.  Oh yes, we went to a movie too.  You can have a lot of fun in one day and two nights when the girls get together.

We stayed in Jerry and Lana's lovely new home in SunRiver St. George.  We felt like queens and princesses. Living richly is more than it's cracked up to be.  We didn't get any pictures because we didn't feel like it was our place to flaunt their private domain. 

Well, OK, Carol and Verla took one picture of the Master Bed so they'd know how to put the pillows back.  Their other home sold and they needed to come down from their summer home in Island Park to sign the papers and get a last few things out of it.  "We can't go down," Lana told Jerry.  "Your sisters will be there."  I told Lana Gale it was perfectly all right with us if they wanted to come down and stay in their own home with us. Instead, Lana just had us and her sister, Jan, pick up a few things to empty the house.  They closed by Internet or some other magic.

 Even with the cats help, we can't keep up with it.

Amy took him to the Vet.  $400 surgery.

We don't know how or when it happened.

 Tomatoes, summer squash, kale, Swiss chard, beans, cucumbers, corn, tomatoes, onions, eggplanat, potatoes. . .

 broccoli, melons, winter squash.  HELP!

 All my flowers died except these tiny things.

I explained to him that I have a cold too and still have to feed him.

One day he paid me the supreme compliment:

"I sure enjoy living with a floor mopper."
