CATCH THE SUNSHINE

I was feeling smug last night;
After a rather tumultuous year.
It seemed a few things finally were coming together:
DeRay took proceedings again to evict JoAnn
The unpaid tenant in Amy’s condo.
He started a diabetic diet this week
One blood sugar reading was 82
And he lost 7 pounds to boot.
Brandon finally fixed the natural gas leak in Ed’s car.
More personal and confidential,
I am thrilled with my new garments
That stay on my shoulders;
Don’t creep up or down.
Pure white.

Awakening full of cheer
The garage door wouldn’t open;
Nauseas gas fumes in the garage
Seeping into the basement where Amy sleeps.
DeRay’s blood sugar was 169;
So confident, he skipped his shot last night.
During the night my new garments split a seam.

. . . . . . . . . .Ahem. . . . . . . . . .

Doesn’t the sunshine feel good?
After a long hard winter
Of wind, rain, snow, sleet,
and freezing nighttime temperatures.
The first frost of fall.
Back on the trikes today;
A little harder after our one-week winter.
Clothes hanging on the line again
Catching the Sunshine!
