Three Strikes You're Out

One!  Two!  Three! Floods in less than two months

  In The Old Base-ment.

The First Flood was drinking water.

The Second Flood was muddy rain water.

The Third Flood was Sewage.

  Sorry to say.  On a Sunday too.

  Main line to the house blocked.

  Roots.

  Yip.  A total new line to the street.

  Not today but ASAP.

The First Flood, we laid the carpet squares on the deck to dry.

The Second Flood, we sprayed the carpet squares on both sides;

  then laid them on the deck to dry.

The Third Flood we threw them away!

  Except Amy saved most of them from getting sewerized.

  So all we have to do is re-lay one bedroom and the hall.

  Back down on my poor sore ruined knees.

  Boo-hoo-hoo-hoo.

NO CARPET IN BASEMENT; SQUARE OR NOT.
