Too old to go swimming . . .

You’ll never believe this of me;

But,

I went swimming for an hour with my hearing aids in;

then I went to the hot tub;

then I went to the steam room

where I finally realized they were still in.

Conclusion:

If you are old enough to wear hearing aids,

you are too old to go swimming.

Now that doesn't hold true for young people

because they would have enough sense

to take their hearing aids out,

not being old and funny and forgetful.

I put  the wet hearing aids in the sauna for an hour;

I blow dried them;

I store them in rice.

After two days,

I put batteries back in.

They seem to be working fine.

Since they are under warranty,

Amy thought I should have them checked.
