We've lived in this house for 28 years;
for 28 years we've needed a railing on the steps:
For Uncle Grant,
for Aunt Mar, Aunt Olive,
for us.
"Now I can carry things to the car," Ed brags
as we pack to leave for vacation.
It was the visiting teachers who motivated us
to finally install the railing
as I watched them help each other
up and down the precarious steps.
Annette is 80
(we're almost twins)
and Jean is 77 with knee injuries and macular degeneration.

Nice job!
nice!!! That looks like it was quite a bit of work!
For an 82-year-old man, it was arduous; for a younger man, probably a piece of cake.
