We didn't have to travel to Israel to vouch for her or call our Senators to get her out of a rat-infected prison; no power outage. As a matter of fact, her plane landed nearly an hour early. She found out Jordan and Israel hate each other, making crossing borders a nightmare. She also found out how wondrous places and people are.

They also swam in the Dead Sea but she didn't take her camera.
She found stray cats everywhere.

She flew from Tel Aviv to Amsterdam
just as we did nearly 20 years ago.
From Amsterdam,
she few directly to Salt Lake City
while we flew to San Francisco
then Salt Lake City.
