Christmas Eve fun with Carol & Melissa
Carol told Amy that we missed her putting the puzzle together on Christmas Eve.
Of course, she forgot to mention that I put the last piece in! She worked on it all evening with Melissa helping at the end. One piece was missing. I found it on the floor Christmas morning and put it in! Who says I'm not good at puzzles?

Forgot to get a picture of the turkey. Will the scraps do? OK, it's not the same.
This year only one stocking hung by the chimney with care.
Sparse.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow
I'm dreaming of
a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white.--Irving Berlin

Christmas morn - a blanket of new snow.
Meanwhile, Amy is back in snowless Maine celebrating Christmas, her birthday and New Year's Eve; riding her bike, watercoloring, cooking with K'Leena.

I wanted to get a picture of everyone lined up youngest to oldest to see what Santa brought, but one didn't seem like much of a line; especially compared to eight of us when I was growing up.
