DeRay
and 96-year-old Sylvia went on a date to get their toenails cut at Wal*Mart a
few days ago. In setting it up, Sylvia wanted me to go. Feeling pressed for
time, I begged off. “You can do what Suzanne did when they went shopping
together,” I tease, “you can sit in the back seat.”
So
she did.
DeRay
was highly insulted. "Why did she do that?"
I
admitted that I had planted the seed but I didn't think she would fall for it.
It’s
like he’s not to be trusted; plus he thinks it looks more suspicious than if
they both sit in the front seat so they can visit like normal friends.
I
agree; but Victorian women are not to be thwarted.
