The best combination is when Brent's birthday falls on Mother's Day,
which happened on the Sunday we were at Snowbird.
Our firstborn, after seven barren years.
Ed doing what Ed does best.
Private Jacuzzi on our deck.
Seven sinks for the four of us;
three bathtubs and showers;
two king-sized beds;
three queen beds.
No, we were not pampered.
Oh yes, and maids to clean the rooms and make up the beds on Monday.
Amy made friends with the pica.
Each day, she would call and they would come.
I don't know when she learned to speak pica.
Each day, Amy drove down the canyon to work,
she said it was like going from Winter to Summer.
They have taken down all the Persian rugs
but the Cliff Lodge is still impressive.
A lonely sunset.
DeRay & Amy finished 1000 piece puzzle.
It took the whole table so we had to eat at the desk or the bar.
Our night view of the family pool.
It's that time of year - DeRay has to tend his seedlings.
The Daily Swim.
Sparkling water dispenser.
We spent a lot of time here.
It's the perfect vacation really.
Close to home.
Yet a totally different world.
If only we didn't have a pack up
and pack down.
Tell me,
how can you come with three crates of food,
and three ice chests;
eat all week,
and pack three crates of food
and three full ice chests home?
