The Daily Walk

     Several years ago, Brent talked Eddy into walking the cul-de-sac everyday. "If you don't use 'em, you lose 'em," philosophy. 
     Eddy's a trooper. When he gets something in his routine, he's faithful to a fault.
     As the days became nice enough to start his outdoor walks this year, we could not get him to step outside the front door. What has happened to his exercise ethics? 
     Finally it dawned on us that he could not go for his walks because his yellow hat is missing. He always keeps in on the post at the bottom of the stairs by the front door. No one knows why it disappeared. 
     Amy donated her cap, exactly like his yellow one, except red. Like magic, he is out on his walk everyday, even Sundays. Although, he laments the loss of his yellow cap, he has risen to the occasion one more time.
